Parker Young is supporting an iconic British Brand, who on the back of a staggering increase in sales last year, are looking for a talented, creative and passionate “foodie” to join the team as Senior Brand Manager.

As Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for owning all the key elements of brand strategy, identifying growth opportunities & building strong plans for your portfolio and ensuring you deliver against them. You will lead the development of brand positioning and ensure all brand communications are delivered.

You will:

  • Work closely with the sales & commercial teams to ensure alignment on brand and customer strategy, monitor and react to customer performance and build and execute appropriate trade marketing plans.
  •  Lead new product development projects, from concept to execution. Brief new product research, interpret and act upon insights.
  •  Work with internal teams and agency partners to develop the right mix of communication channels for the brand, leveraging insight to meet brand objectives and setting appropriate campaign KPI’s
  • Lead internal resources and external agencies to deliver communication and activation plans, ensuring that they are carried out to a high standard and that appropriate effectiveness measures are in place.
  • Understand the key levers which effect value, regularly monitoring market and competitor activity. Review promotional effectiveness and share within the commercial team.
  • Lead the management of a brand P&L, identifying weak areas and managing cross functional teams to deliver the commercial plan.

Can you demonstrate you have the leadership qualities required to be an effective and influential brand champion?

Do you have extensive experience of managing FMCG brands?

Can you work effectively in a fast- paced branded commercial environment?

Our client is looking for someone who can say yes confidently to the questions above, but who is also capable of gathering and interpreting complex market data in order to generate actionable insights and someone with proven ability in managing and influencing internal and external stakeholders. You will have the personal presence required to command the respect of colleagues across all functions. You will be commercially astute, with a thorough understanding of P&L principles and can articulate brand profit performance within the business.
