Sales Manager UK&I - Home Based

Parker Young is delighted to be partnering with with Europe’s leading producer of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions, a division of a global group, spanning 30 countries and with nearly 10,000 employees, to find a great new colleague for their newly created Sales Manager, UK&I position.

As Sales Manager, UK&I, you will join a winning and dynamic European sales team, with responsibility for managing and developing a customer base in the UK and Ireland, while identifying new opportunities for profitable growth.

You will:

• Manage existing business, accounts and customer relationships with responsibility for delivering budget and other key defined financial targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in UK and Ireland and delivering profitable growth.
• Keep abreast of business intelligence regarding the market, customers, competitors, products and trends and reporting of these in a timely fashion to internal stakeholders.
• Creating and updating sales forecasts and other internal reporting requirements.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a number of years of strong sales experience in the packaging industry and a demonstrable track record of achieving growth and results. You will be a proactive, well-organized individual with a service mindset and  strong interpersonal and communication skills.

If you can demonstrate strong business acumen, solid numeric, analytical and problem-solving abilities and show your passion for being a team player, you would present as a strong match for our client. The position requires ability to travel both nationally and internationally.
