Parker Young is delighted to be partnering with a major player in the UK food sector to recruit a highly capable Marketing Manager (or ambitious Senior Brand Manager) to lead a portfolio of iconic home baking brands. The Role
This is a strategically pivotal opportunity. You’ll be responsible for leading the development and execution of brand strategies for a large, multi-SKU portfolio with deep market penetration. Your remit will span:

  • Steering brand positioning, integrated communications, digital campaigns, NPD (new product development), EPD (existing product development), and packaging innovation.
  • Leading projects across the portfolio, partnering closely with agency, design, and media teams to create compelling campaigns that drive engagement and sales.
  • Collaborating with Category and Sales teams to create customer and shopper strategies, deliver persuasive sell-in presentations, and support distribution growth.
  • Analysing market and competitor data to shape commercial strategy, including pricing, promotions, and range development.
  • Managing P&L responsibility and influencing across the business to drive profitability.
  • Leading, motivating, and developing your team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.

Who We’re Looking For
To succeed, you’ll have substantial experience in FMCG brand management, ideally with a background in the food & drink sector. You’ll be commercially astute, data-driven, and ambitious, with a track record of delivering brand growth and launching successful new initiatives.

You will bring:

  • Robust experience of leading brands in a fast-paced, commercially-driven FMCG environment.
  • Expertise in brand strategy, insight generation, communications development, innovation, and commercial leadership.
  • Strong analytical abilities and financial acumen, turning insight into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrable collaboration with commercial functions and retail partners.
  • Excellent influencing and storytelling skills – able to simplify complexity and inspire action.
  • Tenacity, curiosity, and resilience, with a passion for learning and results.
  • Outstanding people skills for stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
