Parker Young is delighted to be supporting an innovative, rapidly growing, leading- technology client, to identify a HR Advisor at an extremely exciting time for the business.

As HR Advisor, You will be part of a team who are the first point of contact for all people matters, supporting both managers and employees across the organisation.  You will deliver value and commercial outcomes across all areas, embedding excellence, pride and ownership through the business. You’ll also be responsible for administrative maintenance of the HRIS along with a wide range of projects and initiatives. You will support the HOHR with any structural change, drive engagement and coach people managers to lead effectively.  You will also:

 

  • Upskill and coach managers in effective disciplinary and grievance conversations, making a more proactive approach as standard.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are legally compliant, and up to date and drive effective employee relations.
  • Provide proactive HR advice/coaching to line managers and employees in a confident, timely and confidential manner, evidencing appropriate decision-making skills and attending/chairing meetings as required.
  • Maintain and update all HR systems and employment correspondence
  • Resolve straightforward and complex people issues to deliver commercially pragmatic outcomes in line with best practices.
  • Identify future leaders to work on individual development plans. • Ensure that personal development plans and living processes across the organisation and are part of coaching and objective-setting conversations.
  • Support talent acquisition from screening, diary arrangement and where required supporting Hiring Managers at the interview stage.
  • Proactively identify training needs and career development plans working with line managers to ensure effective talent pipelines and succession plans are in place.
  • Proactively assess and identify at ways to improve the employee experience.
  • Identify and deliver People Projects with support from the wider HR function.
  • Own the benefits and wellbeing schemes across the organisation.

 

Do you have a sound knowledge of employment practice, employment legislation and resourcing?

Do you have current knowledge of ER processes and procedures (Inc. Employment Tribunals and the Equality Act)?

This role is perfectly suited to either an existing HRA or HR Assistant/ Administrator who has had exposure to the above and who can demonstrate with confidence, their ability to plan and prioritise workload, challenge and influence constructively, to think and deliver at speed and to use high levels of emotional intelligence.
