Parker Young are partnering with a UK brand that is built on a rich British Manufacturing Heritage, who have a unique opportunity for a Communications Manager to join their Marketing team.
As Communications Manager you will execute marketing plans with a focus towards copywriting and create high-quality, effective communications and marketing activities, by supporting the Marketing Director and working closely with the Marketing team.

- Work across all brands to organise and manage advertising and communication campaigns.
- Lead marketing projects through cross functional and cross departmental teams.
- Manage all social media channels and content plan to ensure it is on brand and integrated with the communications plan.
- Support the monitoring and reporting of competitor activity and undertake analysis on sales, and the market, along with research to identify issues and opportunities.
- Work closely with a PR agency to manage and write copy for a range of marketing materials such as brochures, online, social.
- Work with external agencies to make sure projects are dealt with in budget and efficiently.
- Develop strong relationships with the media to ensure maximum press exposure.
- Maximise relationships with customers and Buying groups for communication to members.
- When required, working for the Marketing Director to complete ad hoc projects.
- Create the right internal communications materials.
- Manage costs to budget successfully and efficiently.
To be considered for the Communications Manager position, you must have experience of working in a B2B in-house marketing team and/or have an agency background with B2B clients, have excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills and ideally have experience of Wordpress.
