Category Manager - Leeds

Parker Young is proud to be working with one of the UK's best loved brands to Identify a Category Manager for this great new role! 

As Category Manager you will be responsible for delivering increased exposure of the brand both in store and online. You will maximise distribution and physical space, whilst ensuring excellent activation of the commercial plan. You will lead the category dialogue and development with your customers.

• Optimise marketing plans

 Are you someone who has a passion for food? Do you constantly strive to be the best in what you do? Do you work well in a team environment? If so and you have the following experience, we would love to hear from you:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar commercial role in FMCG/ Grocery retail.
• Ideal backgrounds in either category management, National account Management or buying
• Highly numerate
• Able to cut through a lot of data and confidently articulate issues/causal factors, and to make recommendations for change
• Action focused, creative, “always selling “ mentality.
