SEO Manager - Leeds

Parker Young is delighted to have been asked to support Spike to find SEO Manager to join their ever expanding team in Leeds. You will be experienced in developing organic strategies and have the ambition to move to the next level in progressive, creative SEO and expand your knowledge outside organic search. 

 

The SEO Manager will . . .  

  • Understand customer objectives, suggest, and implement relevant SEO strategies to help achieve those. 

  • Lead on the creative and strategic approach on how to rank a website once a site is technically proficient. 

  • Be confident in offering input into content marketing strategies. 

  • Be able to create and co-ordinate content strategy. 

  • Explain to customers in simplistic language the purpose of any SEO actions and outcomes. 

  • Keep up to date with the latest blogs and knowledge of SEO best practice. 

  • Implement the best practice technical SEO – covering local, country level and multilingual organic search. 

  • Work closely with content and PR teams to deliver a coherent SEO campaign. 

  • Developing new SEO strategies to drive continuous improvement. 

  • Carry out more bespoke, in-depth technical SEO audits. 

 

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years’ experience in SEO agency or client side.  You will have an excellent understanding of the latest search engine technologies and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build excellent client relationships.
