McCain created the first ever frozen chip and went on to become the world’s largest manufacturer of frozen potato products. Today McCain is still family owned, and has grown to 52 production facilities across six continents, employing over 21,000 employees across the world. That’s a lot of potato experts!

2017 brought a £100million investment to our Scarborough manufacturing facility and with the support of our 1,600 UK employees, we produce some of the nation’s favourite potato products!

The introduction of our new and exciting innovation pipeline and award winning media campaign to the UK market means that it has never been a more inspiring time to join our team.  We are looking for talented Brand Marketing professionals at Senior Brand Manager and Brand Manager levels to further strengthen our team.  

The Brand Management team are responsible for developing strategies to grow the sales and profitability of McCain’s product portfolio, as well as developing, executing and evaluating multi-platform advertising campaigns.  There is an abundance of opportunities to create imaginative and innovative consumer led plans for both some of the best-known consumer products in the UK along with some exciting new innovation! This has already seen huge success in the US and you will have the opportunity to be part of its success here in the UK.

If you are an experienced FMCG Marketing professional, with a passion for food and a thirst to work in an innovative, dynamic environment and you feel you possess the following skills and knowledge, we feel we could offer you a challenging and rewarding career:

  • Comprehensive understanding of UK grocery trade.
  • Comprehensive understanding of continuous consumer data sources including EPOS, Shopper Panel, Dunnhumby and Family Food Panel.
  • Creating briefs / giving constructive feedback.
  • Developing communication plans.
  • Consumer research techniques – Qualitative & Quantitative.
  • Acts on own Initiative.
  • Persuasive.          
  • Adaptable.
  • Results orientated.
  • Leadership potential.
  • Clear Communication skills at all levels.
