6 MONTH FTC INHOUSE RECRUITMENT ROLE
Parker Young HR is supporting a multi award winning, rapidly growing financial services client based in Leeds, to find a recruitment coordinator for a great six-month contract to support another significant increase in headcount across the business.
As Recruitment coordinator, you will report to the Head of HR and work closely with the HR Team, acting as the first point of contact for recruitment activity and queries from employees, managers, and external candidates. You will provide a comprehensive, hands-on service throughout the hiring process and on-boarding of new employees.
You will:
Actively sourcing candidates for roles through job boards and social media platforms.
Manage the end to end hiring process.
Administer and support managers in the use of the applicant tracking system and recruitment processes.
Work with stakeholders to champion a high-performance culture and create an environment where behaviours are aligned to our company values.
Ensure compliance of all new starters, including right to work, contracts and employment checks.
Maintain the HR database
Arrange inductions and implement effective on-boarding plans.
Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
Our client is looking for an experienced recruitment specialist, who can demonstrate positive, pro-active, adaptable, helpful and approachable behaviours in role. You will be expected to work with minimal supervision and so be a self-starting individual with a strong emphasis on developing business relationships to influence and better support your stakeholders. You will be able to convey detail and ideas logically and show effective communication, with the ability to deal with HR matters confidently and objectively.
preferably with a background in a regulated environment. preferred experience would include:
Demonstrable experience in managing the full recruitment process including on-line advertising, sourcing candidates, candidate screening, interviewing and associated administration.
A background in a regulated environment.
Experienced in running DBS checks and associated pre-employment checks.
Experienced in working with HR databases or similar systems
IT literate, proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
