We are supporting a well- known European Branded and Own label FMCG business to find a great candidate, for a Project coordinator role.
You will support the Head of Own Label to grow the profitability and share of this large own brand business unit, by assisting in the delivery of the strategy and ensuring its alignment with the long term plan.
You will:
- Project lead on key own label initiatives and for key customers, setting clear targets and timescales and presenting regular updates to the business.
- Project management on own label change programmes involving critical path generation, data input, progress tracking, escalation and reviews.
- Work cross functionally with Category, Sales, Operational, Technical, NPD, Packaging, Supply and Brand Marketing.
- Provide commercial support for the National Account Team.
- Maintenance of own label product database to ensure we consistently provide the latest information for customer range reviews, benchmarking and product submissions.
- Ad hoc duties as requested.
- Identify range and recipe rationalisation opportunities
- Have a constant focus on quality, including technical product specification reviews
- Improving the margin mix through improved efficiencies
- Generating incremental opportunities in conjunction with R&D
To be considered for the role you will have proven experience in successfully managing multiple projects and demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally. If you have worked in the food sector it would be great, but any broader FMCG/ consumer product background would be of interest too. You will be an excellent communicator with strong Project Management skills. You will be highly organised with a flexible approach, excellent focus on attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
