Parker Young supported a rapidly growing, privately owned FMCG business, based in Yorkshire to find an Ecommerce leader, tasked with implementing a growth strategy into the direct to consumer channel. After a period of sustained growth and success, along with the appointment of other key members of the team, our client now requires a Performance and Acquisition specialist, to generate the capability and expertise in house.
As Performance and Acquisition Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the acquisition strategy - manage and optimise multi-channel campaigns across PPC, Paid Social, Email, SEO, Amazon and Affiliates
- Leveraging data in every task and aspect of the role e.g. gathering insight into customer behaviour to create new acquisition campaigns then subsequently track and evaluate effectiveness
- Seeking to test new and effective acquisition strategies in order to drive growth across the business.
- Focusing on delivery of all acquisition KPIs
- Managing daily and weekly budget of performance marketing, advising on best use of spend
- Owning the internal attribution model
- Managing DTC marketing spend to ensure achievement of commercial goals
- Building marketing funnels across platforms utilising paid media
We are looking for a Performance and Acquisition Marketing specialist, with a strong understanding of digital marketing i.e. both current and emerging channels such as PPC, SEO, Affiliate Marketing, Paid Social, and Amazon. You will have a deep working knowledge of Google, Amazon and Facebook and their advertising platforms is mandatory along with an extensive understanding of media attribution models and principles
Do you have:

- An entrepreneurial and experimental mindset?
- Proven experience of running successful multi-channel direct to consumer acquisition marketing campaigns, ideally in an FMCG/ Consumer/ Retail environment?
- A good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint to analyse trends in search data and report back to the business?
