Parker Young is delighted to be supporting a privately owned FMCG business, with a strong heritage and passionately loyal shopper base to identify a National Account Manager.
As National Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of key strategic customers across core grocery, wholesale and some specialist channels. You will drive both profit and NSV with your customers through strategic planning, structured account management and utilising data led insight where applicable. The role will work closely with supply chain, marketing and finance to ensure all the required targets are met.
Key Accountabilities:
- Forecast and planning key accounts to ensure both budgeted NSV and margin targets are achieved.
- Monthly reports into the Head of Sales on any issues found within their customers and plans to resolve
- Utilise the marketing team to highlight gaps in the range and how the business can close these gaps
- Work with the Head of Sales to build a 12 month promotional plan ensuring all brands have the required promotional frequency to drive volume.
- Work closely with buyers, supply chain and telesales teams to keep the focus on the business’ brands, driving distribution into channel.
