Parker Young is delighted to be presenting this Internal Communications Business Partner role on behalf of our globally recognised and much respected market leading FMCG client.

As Internal Communications Business Partner you will create and deliver an annual internal comms plan and oversee all channels, while identifying opportunities and implement activities to support relevant colleague’s objectives. You will enable effective business transformation by managing and delivering relevant change communications and provide reactive crisis and issues management support as required.

You will work closely with the executive board (C-suite) to create clear and engaging messaging around business strategy, successes and changes and be a major contributor to the promotion and understanding of the company values, collaborating across other sites and departments to maximise the effectiveness of message delivery.

You will also:

  • Monitor daily media (inc. social networking sites) for topical issues of interest / concern and circulate report for internal and external audiences. Recommend / initiate action as appropriate
  • You’ll be the voice of MD and board, so it’s really important to quickly establish their tone of voice translate it in a creative, but powerful way.
  • Prepare monthly analysis of company news coverage to assess tone and value
  • Act as focal point and coordinator for all internal communication across the business ensuring that message content, tone, graphics and targeting are appropriate and reflect company values.
  • Ongoing development of internal comms as vehicle for two way communications with colleagues, encouraging greater discussion of, and involvement in, company issues.


We are looking for an experienced Internal Communications professional with strong creative thinking and copywriting experience  and who is able to communicate effectively to a wider range of stakeholders using a broad range of styles. you will also have:

  • The ability to assimilate large amounts of information, and proactively identify and articulate key points of relevance  
  • Good attention to detail, spelling and copy reading / writing skills.
  • An Interest in news and current affairs agenda.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and stay focussed on the task in hand to ensure completion to a high standard.
  • The ability to create media content in accordance with corporate branding.
  • Experience with PR & media exposure.
  • Awareness of new and leading-edge communication technologies for internal and external corporate communication
