Parker Young is delighted to be supporting our established FMCG client, to identify a Web & Ecommerce Executive for their growing online channel.
As Web & E-Commerce Executive, you will assist the Head of Digital in the planning, execution and optimisation of online marketing.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things digital and technology and have a proven background in E-commerce. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive, with great ideas to reinforce the organisations marketing campaigns. You will be a Digital all- rounder with either agency or client-side experience and you must have experience in managing Direct to Consumer E-commerce platforms, and navigating Content Management Systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
- Launch optimised online paid adverts through Google Adwords, Facebook etc.
- Email Marketing.
- Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimisation etc.)
- Plan and monitor and manage the ongoing company presence on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc.
- Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date
- Collaborate with designers and developers to improve user experience
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
- Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM, PPC
- Excellent knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)
- Skills and experience in creative content writing
- Analytical mindset and critical thinking
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Social Media Management experience
