Digital PR & Outreach Executive - Yorkshire

We are delighted to be working with Spike Digital on a retained basis to support their search for a Digital PR & Outreach Specialist.

Over the last few years, the business has seen tremendous growth, moving through the gears with particular strength in the e-commerce, travel and automotive markets - working with businesses with an annual digital marketing spend in excess of £1m. The company structure is deliberately flat, and everyone gets a chance to provide input either at a product, customer service or company level.

Spike are looking for an outgoing, confident and enthusiastic Digital PR & Outreach Specialist to join the team in their Headingley office.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone with a passion for digital PR and link building, who has previous digital marketing experience in either an agency or client side.

What you’ll be doing

• You will closely with the in-house SEO team to deliver Link Acquisition and PR campaigns, also working within our Online PR team to help with ideation and the production of high-quality written content.
• Build and manage relevant digital relationships via email and telephone
• Develop and maintain strong personal relationships with key publishers (journalists, bloggers and PR's)
• Helping to build and drive link acquisition strategies across all campaigns
• Identify opportunities for potential coverage on digital publications
• Conducting relevant research into trending story/PR/content topics
• Help build out our internal database of target opportunities
• Measure and reporting of link acquisition efforts
• Manage the creation of creative copy internally and externally
