Parker Young are supporting a Global, privately owned consumer products business with a firm footprint in Yorkshire to identify a Digital Marketing Executive, to help drive further growth in their B2C online channel.

As Digital Marketing Executive, you will be fully involved in digital strategies, initiatives and activities across multiple brands. You’ll have the unique opportunity to hone your digital skills, whilst influencing the strategic implementation of digital marketing activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively promoting the consumer focused transactional site, working independently, with external digital consultants and with the brand management team to help create and implement strategies for growth.
  • Digital marketing calendar planning and the creation, execution and reporting of e-mail and social trade/consumer campaigns.
  • Regular analysis of analytics and utilising the results to shape future campaigns.
  • Liaising with online influencers to maximise online exposure.
  • Trade customer website audits.
  • Creation of trade and consumer press releases and liaising with media publishers.
  • Developing and creating downloadable new product information packs.
  • Assisting with trade/consumer show organisation and execution.

Our client is undergoing rapid change in strategic direction and their digital marketing function is a vital part of this. As this channel further grows in importance, so will the role, with plenty of opportunity for future development.

To be considered for the role you need to be a digital marketing graduate, or have suitable digital marketing qualifications and will have a minimum of 1-2 year’s experience in a digital marketing related role.

Must have skills:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google Ads
  • Facebook sponsored ads
  • e-mail campaign creation and management (through platforms such as Constant Contact, Mailchimp etc)
  • Highly organised and able to work on multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • Accurate and engaging copy writing skills are essential.

 

Nice to haves:

  • Experience of the Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud would be beneficial
  • Experience of Woocommerce or other retail transaction platform
  • Experience of marketing through Instagram, YouTube, Twitter and other social platforms is desirable.

This is a varied role working over multiple brands across B2B and B2C selling platforms. You will be based the UK Head Office in Yorkshire, with occasional travel in the UK and potentially abroad. We’re looking for an exceptional person to take our client's digital marketing to the next level and grow with them as they realise their potential in this fast moving area.
