Category Development Executive

Do you have experience of working within a category, insight or account management environment within FMCG?

Do you have strong data skillset experience with knowledge of working with Kantar, IRI (similar)?

Are you an innovative individual who can think outside the box to develop new ways of success?

Are you commercially minded with the ability to manage stakeholders and several projects simultaneously?

Parker Young are supporting a well- known European Branded and Own label FMCG business to find a great Category Development Executive.

You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive mutual growth across all customer types, using best practice category management such as range maximisation, space and brand display.  

You will . . . 

• Manage and analyse multi-sourced datasets to deliver compelling category insights and recommendations to drive sustainable growth and opportunities to win.
• Monitor, track and report on market and competitor performance to drive action and grow the business.
• Manage stakeholder relationships both externally and internally with confidence, whilst driving the strategy forward and supporting the long-term plan.
• Have a desire to develop and thrive, by possessing high levels of personal accountability in exceeding and delivering targets.

If you have worked in the food sector it would be great, but any broader FMCG/ consumer product background would be of interest too. You will be an excellent communicator with a positive, open-minded approach to change and new opportunities. You will be highly organised with an excellent focus on attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
