We’re working with a Global FMCG company in search of a Business Development Executive. This is a fantastic role and a great opportunity for a ‘people person’ who is confident in opening and maintaining relationships with end-users/ wholesalers and who can effectively deliver on sales objectives.
Key responsibilities
Converse regularly with wholesalers, end buyers as well as current end-users regarding the company portfolio and product range
Use samples and sales aids strategically to increase company influence and overall sales
Ensure customer relationships remain strong by adding mutually beneficial value to our end-user’s area of responsibility. This may include planning activities where appropriate
Meet targets and listings for sales objectives
Communicate effectively with customer services to ensure any issues with products or supply are understood and dealt with
Communicate with account management colleagues to develop sector knowledge
Support field teams in executing company plans
Update budget and maintain a system-based portfolio which represents the current situation of the business channel

Experienced in business development
Experienced in selling into professional sectors (preferably within the FMCG sector)
Someone with strong commercial acumen
A problem solver
A coherent presenter
Someone with a full driving license
Good at understanding customer needs
A team player
Degree is preferable though not essential
