Parker Young is working with one of the UK’s most iconic brands to identify a Brand Manager to join their growing team.
As Brand Manager you will:
- Develop the brand strategy for the next 3 years to drive growth
- Develop and deliver the annual brand plans for your chosen portfolio, including packaging, product development, pricing, promotions and communications in line with brand positioning
- Lead the cross functional category team including sales, marketing, category, finance, supply and the rest of the business on the to ensure delivery of volume, revenue and profit targets
- Deliver in year brand plan to achieve volume, revenue and profit targets
- Monitor and achieve market share and key brand metrics
- Work alongside the sales team to ensure distribution objectives are met and promotional strategy is delivered.
- Champion the brand with the commercial teams to ensure the prioritisation of key initiatives
Our client is looking for an experienced Brand professional who has a strong academic back ground, ideally qualified to degree level. You must have proven experience managing a portfolio of brands, products and projects independently. You must be able to demonstrate you can work under challenging/demanding market environments in a FMCG company and you need to be passionate, insight driven with strong analytical skills and results focused. You must also be pro-active and enthusiastic with a real passion for food.
This opportunity offers flexible, home based working, but with the need to be available to travel to the Yorkshire based HQ, 1-2 days per week.
