Parker Young are recruiting Brand Manager position for a well known FMCG business, who have been through a period of significant positive change and a recent restructure has presented a great opportunity for a ambitious and talented FMCG Brand Marketing professional.

The Brand Manager is responsible for providing the overall marketing and new product development activities for the allocated brand. You will be the single point of contact for the implementation of the Brand Strategy and all market research, advertising and promotion and new product development activities. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and be responsible for developing and managing the marketing budget for the allocated brand or brands

You will:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategy to effectively reach our consumers
  • Develop and execute brand innovation plans based on consumer led insight
  • Delivery of NPD and EPD in full, on time and in budget
  • High level of communication with external partners building working and lasting relationships
  • Manage all market research, advertising (Both ATL and BTL) and Promotions, new product development and activities
  • Retail activation and shopper marketing plans
  • Meet and (ideally exceed) key KPI’s such as business turnover, consumer growth metrics and profit targets
  • Manage an annual marketing spend budget
  • Work with category team to identify issues and opportunities – and develop associated actions
  • Identify market trends and opportunities for new product development / range extension / refresh
  • Full responsibility for all areas of the marketing mix
  • Provide weekly updates to Head of Marketing and monthly updates to senior management and reports as required
  • To respond to ad hoc requests and/or take an active role in specific projects as directed by your line manager.

Our client is looking for a self-starter with a pro-active approach and someone with strong project management experience. You need to have can do attitude with a strong work ethic. You will be a real team player, with the ability to communicate and operate across functions. Good presenting skills are essential.
