Parker Young is delighted to have been asked to support Spike again, with the identification of a great candidate for another key hire for the business. This time we are looking to identify an experienced Account Manager with a strong knowledge of the digital landscape to join this great and growing team!

As Account Manager at Spike, you will be an online marketing professional with strong commercial awareness to support the shift into a client service model. A good Account Manager puts the client first and is perfectly in tune with their aspirations. Spike work with some tremendous brands and have an excellent track record of client retention which they will continue to do with the successful applicant.

This is an exciting point to join Spike as the business continues to improve their customer service and overall service delivery.

The Account Manager is responsible for:

  • Setting up and leading client review meetings (video/face-to-face)
  • Learning about a client's operation in great detail and get to grips quickly with its KPIs.
  • Having a strong working knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Managing monthly client reports
  • Being vocal in planned activity and challenge activity when appropriate to always put the client first.
  • Demonstrating a thirst for ongoing learning in digital marketing.

The ideal candidate will be natural at owning and driving performance from key channels of activity (organic search, paid media and PR/outreach), whilst also building a strong working relationship with key clients that you are responsible for. You will also be able to demonstrate a genuine interest for driving marketing performance beyond the targets and initial contract timeframe.
